The ratmen cometh

 Will flesh this out later on the desktop but nice to get some painted models on the table. I expect like most people you can blame Andy Chambers and White Dwarf 137 for this.

Anyway, it would be nice to get hold of all the old metal clanrats and slaves, although I doubt it will ever happen. I'm not adverse to third party models either, some of the Ral Partha stuff will fit in lovely.

I also need some rat ogres (the big lads designed by a Perry I think). Have ordered another load of monopose plastic clanrats off Ebay. Should be easy to paint (contrast brown for fur, contrast yellow/purple for clothes, metal for metal (!), pink for tail, shade with nuln oil, done).

Future ideas- RAF (rat air force)- bodge up an old airfix model of one of those odd looking WW1 planes plus/minus doomwheel bits. Also one of those new Cathay balloons could easily be captured and used by Skaven.

Also got my eye on doing something with an old bombard model and maybe a rat ogre loading it. Lots to think about.

However the primary objective must be to complete what I already have!
